Founded in 1209, Cambridge University has long been at the heart of British academic life, its colleges and chapels shaping the city’s identity. These photographs show its historic buildings, bridges, and the river that runs through it. I studied history remotely with Cambridge, so visiting in person was a chance to see it all — the cycling, the gardens, the river life — and to fall in love with the city’s character.
